The main production process steps of cat litter

Material selection: The raw materials for cat litter mainly include silicone, sawdust, corn starch, natural minerals or clay, etc. Select appropriate raw materials based on different materials of cat litter.

Mixing: According to the product formula, different raw materials are mixed in proportion, and pigments and spices can be added during this process to enhance the attractiveness of the product.

Molding: The prepared cat litter raw materials are fed into a molding machine and made into molded cat litter through processes such as high temperature, high pressure, or drying in a sealed state. There are two molding methods: extrusion molding and crushing molding. Extrusion molding is generally used for the production of silicone cat litter, while crushing molding is suitable for sawdust cat litter or corn starch cat litter.

Quality inspection: Conduct appearance quality inspection, water resistance, moisture absorption and other tests on the formed cat litter to determine that the product quality is qualified before packaging.
